Meta Description

Automotive Test Systems (ATS) presented its next-gen automotive testing solutions for ADAS, EV, K&C, driving simulation, vehicle dynamics, durability, and more, at the 18th Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT 2024).

Automotive Test Systems (ATS) participated in the 18th Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT) as Exhibitor where it demonstrated its testing solutions geared to meet the automotive standards of the future. The event was held during 23-35 January 2024 at Pune International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Maharashtra, India.
Symposium on International Automotive Technology (SIAT) is a widely acclaimed forum for the global automotive fraternity for exchange of ideas and brainstorming. The biennial international event, organized by Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), witnesses participation of eminent experts worldwide in various automobile arenas.
ATS demonstrated its solutions for ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems), EV, vehicle dynamics, durability, passive safety, end of line, component testing, and more.

Key Instruments Demonstrated

Guided soft target from AB Dynamics: For ADAS validation A pilotable target system which looks like another car to test your vehicle. It is a rugged, dependable platform that that is high performance, safe, with high capacity batteries, provides accurate control.

Halo steering robot from AB Dynamics: For vehicle dynamics and ADAS testing The steering robot applies accurate and repeatable inputs to a vehicle’s steering, allowing the test engineers to completely remove the variability that comes from a human driver.

Steering robot from Stahle GmbH: For vehicle handling and ADAS testing The highly dynamic steering system is used for computer controlled steering of vehicles. It is most suitable for steering dynamics, vehicle dynamics and legal handling tests.

Pedestrian and cyclist target from Moshon Data: For ADAS validation and testing The pedestrian and cyclist soft targets from Moshon Data represent real world items / vehicles and are suitable for all ADAS testing.

CATS, SpeedBox INS, RTK Base and other systems from Race Technology: For vehicle testing The complete automotive testing system (CATS) is a ready-to-use, complete test solution ideal for advanced brake and chassis testing. The Speedbox product range features combined GPS and inertial sensors to give robust, accurate and low latency measurements in real world conditions.

Fuel flow sensor from Peiseler: For fuel consumption measurement The flowmeter has been specially developed for measurement of fuel consumption in test mode and on the test bench. The flowmeter is suitable for all types of fuels.

EZ Motion and other products from EZ Metrology: Guided soft target from AB Dynamics: EZ Metrology demonstrated EZ Motion for dynamic suspension parameter measurement, EZ Slam for door slam force measurement, and EZSpeed for door closure speed measurement on a car.

Driving simulator from Ansible Motion: Ansible Motion showcased a driving simulator for the first time in India. Ansible Motion’s high-fidelity driving simulator allows people to participate in virtual test drives and safely evaluate tomorrow’s vehicles today.

Newly launched RT3000 V4 from OXTS: For navigation RT3000 v4 combines survey-grade GNSS positioning with OxTS’ best ever inertial measurement unit to offer a robust, out-of-the-box navigation solution for uninterrupted position, orientation and motion data in all environments.

ATS-made VRU (vulnerable road user) dynamics platform: For ADAS testing The vulnerable road user platform (VRU) is a new advancement in automotive / ADAS testing from Automotive Test Systems, geared towards the safety of pedestrian / vehicle borne road users with disabilities or reduced mobility and orientation.
